Quality & Manufacturing
A fitting is a simple part with no tolerance for being wrong. Our quality process is built around that fact: every Higher Fitting part is manufactured to its governing dimensional standard and verified before it ships.
Built to standard
Parts are machined to the dimensional requirements of their connection family — SAE J514 for JIC 37° flare and flareless, SAE J1453 for ORFS, SAE J1926-1 for O-ring boss ports, SAE J476/ASME B1.20.1 for pipe threads, SAE J518 for 4-bolt flanges, ISO 1179 and ISO 7-1 for BSP, ISO 9974 and DIN 2353 for metric. The standard is stated on each product page, so your engineering team can verify rather than trust.
Checked by lot
Production lots are verified with thread gauging on every connection type, seat angle and surface-finish checks on sealing faces, and dimensional inspection against the applicable standard. Material and plating are controlled per lot — carbon steel with trivalent zinc plating as standard, with 316/304 stainless and brass options across most families.
Packaged for industrial use
Parts ship clean, capped where appropriate, and labeled by part number. For OEM and distributor programs we support custom labeling, kitting, bagging with your part numbers, and carton quantities matched to your line-side needs.
Documentation
Specification details are published on every product page. If your purchasing process requires additional documentation for a specific order — dimensional reports or material certifications — tell us in the RFQ and we'll confirm what's available for that line before you commit.
